The Inspiration 2010 + Beyond Gala
The Inspiration 2010 + Beyond Gala was a resounding success. Hosted by Frank and Belinda Stronach at the elegant Magna Golf Club on November 24, 2009 the Gala raised over $179,000!
Cuisine from countries that hosted recent Paralympic Games was featured with musical entertainment provided by Sameer and Adrian Anantawan.
Parasports were demonstrated and patrons were able to try out Wheelchair Basketball, Sledge Hockey, Boccia and Wheelchair Curling.
Inspiration 2010 would not have been possible without the selfless and generous contribution by Frank and Belinda Stronach of the facilities - staff, food and beverages of the Magna Golf Club. The Club’s elegant surroundings, impeccable service and inspired cuisine were invaluable in making the evening a memorable occasion.
The event raised over $179,000 and those attending the event witnessed our initial disbursement of $50,000, of a total of $165,000, to the Canadian Paralympic Committee in support of our team for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Paralympic Games.
