Brian McKeever Wins 3rd Gold Medal
March 20, 2010
On the last day of the Paralympics Brian McKeever won his third gold medal in the one-Kilometre cross-country sprint for the visually impaired. McKeever went into the Paralympics feeling the disappointment of not being able to race in the Olympics. He had qualified for the Olympic team in January but a last minute decision denied his participation in the 50 kilometre race. McKeever also won gold medals in the 10 and 20 kilometre cross country races for the visually impaired.
